An Arts Anchor for a Thriving Community and Campus
The Moody Performing and Fine Arts Center at St. Philip’s School and Community Center stands as a vibrant testament to the power of creativity, community, and faith. Now open and alive with activity, the Center fulfills a long-held dream to provide world-class spaces for students to explore dance, theater, digital design, visual arts, and music. It serves as both a learning hub and a beacon for South Dallas. This is a space where every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to discover their gifts and tell their story through the arts.
This state-of-the-art facility features specialized studios for dance, music, theater, visual arts, and digital design, each intentionally crafted to inspire exploration and excellence. The cafetorium and Eastland Family Stage host performances and community gatherings, while the Showcase Gallery highlights student work and welcomes local and visiting artists. The Promenade and outdoor spaces provide areas for fellowship and reflection, reinforcing St. Philip’s role as both a school and a community anchor. A storm-shelter foundation, modern technology, and a commercial-grade Culinary Arts Studio ensure the space is as functional as it is beautiful.
Spaces in our new facility are available for rent. For inquiries, email our Fine Arts Director, Alicia Holmes at aholmes@stphilips.com or call 214-421-5221.
