    To provide an unparalleled education and compatible community services through a faith-based experience, with emphasis on serving low and moderate income families. We believe every child and family deserves a neighborhood that offers safety, opportunity, and hope. Strong, healthy neighborhoods open pathways for people of all backgrounds by enhancing well‑being and ensuring access to quality housing, education, employment, and essential amenities.

    Our History

    St. Philip’s began in the 1940s when Black Episcopalians established a church. Over the decades, the institution evolved into a thriving educational institution deeply rooted in service. Each year we serve 241 students and over 8,000 neighbors, offering a wide range of programs designed to meet the diverse and critical needs of our community.
