Middle School - 6th Grade to 8th Grade

Middle School - 6th Grade to 8th Grade

At St. Philip’s School and Community Center, our Middle School program, serving students from 6th to 8th grade, blends academic excellence with character development and real-world readiness, all within a faith-based framework. Students are challenged to meet high academic standards while growing as leaders who demonstrate empathy, integrity, and responsibility. Each grade includes a unique capstone focus to build essential life skills: 6th Grade highlights Financial Literacy, 7th Grade explores Entrepreneurship through creativity and innovation, and 8th Grade emphasizes Leadership to prepare students to lead with confidence and purpose.

In addition to core academic subjects, students participate in enriching classes such as Spanish, Art, Music, Theater, Physical Education, Chapel, and Library. They also engage in hands-on learning in the Innovation Lab/Makerspace, where they explore technology, robotics, and 3D printing. Our differentiated instruction meets students where they are, ensuring personalized academic growth.

Outside the classroom, students benefit from a robust athletics program that includes sports like Volleyball, Track & Field, and Basketball, as well as after-school activities that require creativity and collaboration. The Middle School experience at St. Philip’s is more than the typical preparation for high school.

St. Philip's is accredited by and is a member of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
