Graduate Profile 2

Principal Kellee Murrell talks about the St. Philip's Graduate Profile.

Servant Leadership

The St. Philip’s graduates will exhibit a mindset of Servant Leadership, possessing the capacity to offer their talents and time for the benefit of others. Displaying a desire to enrich their communities through their actions, serve with empathy and responsibility, and inspire through leadership.

Cultural Awareness & Social Justice

The St. Philip’s graduates develop a solid foundation and appreciation for diversity with a specific emphasis on African Americans, the African diaspora, and world culture and history. Graduates exhibit the positive self-esteem needed to thrive in environments where they may be the minority, after leaving St. Philip’s. Children are introduced to the practice of tolerance, justice, loving-kindness, and the celebration of our differences. Graduates are equipped to recognize injustice and to stand up or speak out for what is right.

Inter- & Intra-Personal Wellness

Through a coordinated network of school and community-based programs, St. Philip’s provides a systematic framework that supports the development of a healthy spirit, mind, and body. This includes chapel services, the intentional teaching of core values, leadership opportunities, on-site counseling, referral systems, service-learning projects, and physical education. Together, these experiences equip students with the skills they need to engage confidently and purposefully with the world around them.

Christ-Centered

St. Philip nurtures each child’s spiritual growth in an age-appropriate and consistent way, rooted in Christian values. Beginning at age three, students participate in daily devotions and all-school Chapel services with messages, music, prayer, and worship. Through prayer and reflection, students build a solid foundation of faith and a deep love for themselves and others. They are encouraged to recognize their God-given potential and pursue purposeful, intentional lives. While each faith journey is personal, St. Philip offers the guidance and support to help students grow in understanding and spiritual maturity.

Intellectually Driven

Graduates of St. Philip is an intellectually curious, confident thinker driven by a love of learning. Through a rigorous, technology-integrated curriculum and Project-Based Learning, students explore real-world challenges with creativity and collaboration. Diverse academic and artistic experiences, paired with strong family support through Parent University, prepare students to excel academically, think critically, and take meaningful risks. St. Philip’s graduates are equipped to lead and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing world.
