Collaboration in Action

St. Philip’s School and Community Center is proud to collaborate with Dallas Designing Dreams through its presence at the WeCreation Center, the hub for human-centered design and innovation on our campus.

This partnership brings a fresh, community-oriented approach to workforce development and entrepreneurship in South Dallas, combining co-working concepts with hands-on vocational training. Together, St. Philip’s and Dallas Designing Dreams have transformed the WeCreation Center into a creative incubator where nonprofits, small businesses, and local entrepreneurs can flourish while supporting youth, adults, and senior citizens through skill-building opportunities.

Dallas Designing Dreams brings a wealth of expertise to the WeCreation Center, offering classes and certifications in leatherwork, sewing, drone piloting, video editing, embroidery digitizing, sublimation printing, and graphic design. These high-demand skills are not only creative outlets but also potential career pathways for community members. With the leadership of experienced instructors, students gain practical knowledge that can lead to self-sufficiency, business ownership, or employment in growing industries such as fashion, tech, and media. St. Philip’s students, families, and local residents now have direct access to industry-relevant training right in their neighborhood, empowering participants to transform their passions into livelihoods.

The WeCreation Center also serves as a community meeting space and entrepreneurial launchpad, offering workshops, consulting opportunities, and afterschool programs that support creative and economic growth. By welcoming Dallas Designing Dreams into its fold, St. Philip’s deepens its commitment to nurturing possibility, purpose, and prosperity in South Dallas.

Please contact Dallas Designing Dreams Co-founder, Arthur Porter at info@dallasdesigningdreams.org or Call 214-421-9900.
