Early Childhood- Pre-Kindergarten to Kindergarten

Early Childhood- Pre-Kindergarten to Kindergarten

“Me, my family, my school and the world around me” are the points of concentration in early childhood --- beginning with and building on the child's innate desire to see the world with him or herself at the center. Hands-on learning is the preferred method of instruction in our early childhood division.

At St. Philip’s, early childhood education is rooted in the belief that "learning is child's play." Our Early Childhood department serves children from pre-kindergarten through kindergarten, providing a solid foundation for academic and personal growth.

The program delivers a comprehensive curriculum that supports development in key areas: language and communication, Math, Science, critical thinking, and social-emotional and physical growth. Learning takes place in a nurturing, joyful environment where each child is encouraged to explore, create, and think critically. Classrooms are designed to promote safe, teacher-guided exploration. Our teaching approach evolves with the needs of each child, ensuring they are both challenged and supported as they develop confidence and a love of learning.

St. Philip's is accredited by and is a member of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
