Oratorical Contest
The Oratorical Contest will be held Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.
Preliminaries will be as follows:
Pre-K 2- Kindergarten Wednesday, February 26th.
3rd-6th grade, Thursday, February 27th.
Early Bird Enrollment
Re-enrollment starts Saturday, February 1st and ends at 11:59 pm on Saturday, February 29, 2020.
A $100 discount is applied toward the tuition of returning students whose re-enrollment is completed by February 29th.

African Attire Fridays in February
In Honor of African American History Month students are able to wear their African Attire each Friday, in place of their uniforms. African Attire must meet dress code expectations. Please see the handbook for detailed dress code guidelines.
Destiny Award Luncheon Carpool Changes
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE (6:30 a.m.- 7:30 a.m.)
On Thursday (Feb. 20), AND Friday morning, BSC will take place in the Legacy Gym. Parents must escort their students into the Legacy gym.
EARLY CHILDHOOD MORNING DROP OFF (7:30 a.m.- 8:20 a.m.)
On Thursday (Feb. 20), AND Friday morning, ALL EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDENTS (PK2-K) must be escorted by an adult through Gate # 3 (by Baylor Health clinic) to the entrance by the After School Care desk to their classroom.
KISS AND RIDE (7:30 a.m.- 7:50 a.m.)
On Thursday (Feb. 20), AND Friday morning, ALL LOWER AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS (1st-6th grade) must be dropped off at the Legacy Building entrance (Gate #4) at the corner of Holmes and Pennsylvania and enter the Legacy Gym. Faculty will pick up students from the Legacy Gym at 7:50 am for chapel.
AFTERNOON CARPOOL (3:30 p.m.- 4:00 p.m)
On Thursday (Feb. 20), AND Friday afternoon, Carpool will take place in the Legacy Gym. ALL CARPOOL PICK-UP will take place at Gate #4, at the Legacy Building entrance.
AFTER SCHOOL/EXTENDED CARE (5:15-6:00)
On Thursday (Feb. 22), AND Friday afternoon between 5:15 – 6:00 PM, ASC participants will be in the Legacy Gym. Parents should continue to sign their student(s) out at the community center desk.
Please check your email for the Destiny Carpool Map, this route will take place on Thursday, February 20th and Friday, February 21st.
Girl Scout Troop 1620 Cookie Sale!!!!!!!!!
They will begin taking orders Tuesday, January 21st- Sunday, March 1st.
Onsite cookie sale will begin on Thursday, January 23rd.

Amazing things are happening here!
We are pleased to host Lyric Stage in celebration of Black History Month. A special one-night performance of Abyssinia will take place on Monday, February 17 in the MorningStar Chapel at 6:30pm.
Based on the novel Marked by Fire by Joyce Carol Thomas, this musical was adapted and written by Ted Kociolek (Music/Book) and James Racheff (Lyrics/Book)
