Open to residents of the community.

St. Philip’s Community Center offers a free legal aid clinic in collaboration with the D.V.A.P (Dallas Volunteer Attorneys Program). The clinics offer free legal advice and consultation in civil matters for those who qualify under Legal Aid’s income eligibility guidelines. The clinic is offered on the third Tuesday of every month beginning at 5:00 pm. (except Holidays).

Space is limited on a first come, first served basis. Applicants should arrive and sign in one to ½ hour prior to scheduled clinic posted time. If your case is accepted for representation, you may be asked to pay for filing fees, court costs, etc. PLEASE BRING PROOF OF INCOME, IDENTIFICATION, LEGAL PAPERS, ETC.

DVAP can assist in the following legal matters: 
 - Family Law
 - Consumer
 - Probate and Wills Employment
 - Guardianship
 - Public Benefits Expunctions/Non-disclosures Landlord

Occurs the 3rd Tuesday of the month, except for June, July, August, and December.

We are unable to assist in criminal cases and/or immigration law, but can refer our clients to additional community resources as needed.
