  • Applying for Financial Aid

  • St. Philip's School utilizes FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to process and evaluate financial aid applications for the 2008-2009 school year. To apply for financial aid, you will need to follow these important guidelines:

  • 1. Apply online beginning December 1, 2007. To apply online you will need:
       • Copies of your 2007 IRS federal income tax return
       • Copies of your 2007 W-2 form
       • Supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare,      Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers' Compensation, and TANF
       • Payment of your $20 nonrefundable application fee

  • 2. If your family does not have access to the internet, you will need to complete a written Grant and Aid Application. To receive an application by mail call 214.421.5221, or you can pick one up from the Admission Office during normal school hours. The information requested above will also be needed. You will need to mail the completed application as well as your supporting documentation and fees directly to SSS no later than February 29, 2008.

  • 3. Mail a copy of the following information to the Admissions Office by February 29, 2008:
       • Copies of your 2007 W-2 form
       • Copies of your 2007 federal income tax return
       • Copies of your most recent pay stub
       • If your child was enrolled in a school other than St. Philip's for      the 2007-2008 school year, a financial statement from that      school should be provided
       • A narrative which explains your family's need for financial aid

  • The deadline to submit financial aid applications is February 29, 2008. Please do not delay in completing your application for financial aid. For those families who miss the deadline, your application will be considered as part of our wait list.

  • Notification of grants will be mailed May 2, 2008.

  • Confidentiality
    St. Philip's School & Community Center adheres to the highest standards of privacy. Only those individuals involved in the awarding of financial aid grants are privy to a family's financial information.
