While the majority of Dallas public and private schools close their doors each school day after the last bell, St. Philip's School and Community Center remains open to over 1,000 children from the surrounding community offering daily activities including sports, arts and educational programs.
After School Care
St. Philip’s School and Community Center provides after school care for students who attend St. Philip's school. More than 120 children participate daily in activities ranging from art, music, drama, technology, finance, science and sports such as lacrosse.
Circle of Support Girls and Boys S.M.A.R.T. Summer Programs
S.M.A.R.T. (Summer of Math, the Arts, Reading and Technology) is a summer camp for children and youth that enhances children academically, socially, spirituality, and culturally. Target grades are 1st - 6th for boys and 1st - 8th for girls. Enrollment will begin February 2008.
Girls and Boys Night Out
Girls and Boys Night Out programs provide ages 8 to 14 with the opportunity to participate in lock-in programs with trained facilitators to discuss youth issues, including career investigation and social and life skills.
First Teen Fridays
First Teen Fridays are designed to transition youth into higher levels of engagement with worship through music, dance, entertainment, spoken word and spiritual food. This event is held every first Friday of the month from 5:45 to 9:00 p.m.
Discover Dallas
Students in the Dallas area are offered an opportunity to visit cultural establishments once a month to experience the sites and sounds of the Metroplex. Sponsored by the Junior League, students have attended Texas Motor Speedway, the Symphony, the Neiman Marcus Parade, and other citywide activities.
